Termite Inspections
Licensed Pest Company - Single Family Residence $50.00

*Termite Inspections can be scheduled through Crown Home Inspections, and will be performed by a locally licensed and qualified pest control company. The inspection will be scheduled at the same time as the whole house inspection, but payment must be made separately.




Radon Measurements
Ordered with a Whole House Inspection $125.00
Without a Whole House Inspection $175.00

*Radon Measurements are 48 hour tests conducted using Continuous Radon Monitors. These monitors will report the hour-by-hour radon readings throughout the duration of the test. Results are available immediately at the conclusion of the test. All tests will either start on the day of the inspection, or 2 days prior to the inspection. Other start times are available on request for an additional fee.




EIFS / Stucco Inspections
Visual and Invasive Testing Call for Quote

*Crown Home Inspections owns 50% of Kansas City Moisture Inspections. All EIFS or Stucco Inspections are performed by Kansas City Moisture Inspections. Fees vary based on size of the house, and whether or not invasive testing is required. Invasive testing (probing) may be necessary to determine the presence of moisture behind stucco and to confirm structural damage as a result of stucco problems. Please call to discuss and request a quote.




Mold Inspections and Sampling
Level I Mold Investigation w/ Home Inspection $295.00
Level I Mold Investigation w/o Home Inspection $345.00
Additional samples (air, swab or tape) $95.00

*Mold tests are all completed according to the IESO standards. Mold tests will always be completed in pairs for comparisons between suspect and non-suspect areas. If multiple areas need to be tested, discounts may apply for additional tests. Consult with the inspector regarding Level II investigations and your specific needs.




Water Testing
FHA/VA Standard $200.00
Full Analysis $300.00

*FHA water tests are not typically required for the loan. However, if the home has a private/individual water source (not hooked up to the public system), then a water test may be required. Check with your lender. You can view the HUD requirements for water tests here (see page 3)
